Any names, places, or events that are in this story is a complete work of fiction.   EVE: It is a weird feeling being surrounded by so many people when you are feeling dejected. Everybody’s happy. The hum of their voices as some sing and others laughing all around me makes me feel even more lonely. I knew better than to come to the christmas festival, but my best friend was excited and I didn’t want to cancel on her again. I normally love this; all the decorations and lights are reasons enough to attend, but it’s the food that was the ultimate deciding factor for me. This short story is a work of fiction and names, places or events are purely coincidental. Running, that's all that I can think to do. I try to pull air into my lungs but they burn with every inhale and exhale. I can't believe this is my life now.
