Turning 31! WHAT A WILD RIDE!

 I have been 31 for a week and let's say it has been a WILD RIDE.

During the day I went to work and I was showered with love and the best wishes for a great birthday from not only my co-workers but all of the kids. After work I was going to meet my best friend and my favorite local author at a coffee house for a birthday treat. Sounds like the best way to celebrate, right? Well an unexpected twist of events occurred and I was unable to make it.

I call my friend. "UM! I don't think I am going to make it!"

She thought I was joking because she knew I was on my way. I am not going to go into any details but I was about two miles away when I was in a car accident.

I can without a doubt say that I have the BEST people in my life. she was there at the scene in like 10 minutes due to after work traffic, but to me it felt like an eternity. My parents arrived not too long after that. I am thankful that I have people that will come running when I need them.

Fast forward to Sunday. I am not feeling my best but I go to my favorite coffee shop and spend most of the day with two of my favorite creative people. I managed to complete my goal of editing chapter 17 which I was struggling with for TWO WEEKS, but I managed to accomplish that and nap with my head on the table and know that there was no judgement and that I would be safe. I was so exhausted from the events that happened on my birthday that it was hard for me to stay awake but I didn't want to stay in bed. 😳

I have never been the person to let the number of my age affect me or even let stressful thing cause me stress but man being 31 has been crazy and exhausting but some good things have happened as well as some not ideal situations. I got to start my Wizard of Oz sleeve and I LOVE IT!! I got the tin man and Dorothy with Toto to start. they were back to back two day sessions and worth it! (I'll add Dorothy and Toto when I get it)

    I’m so glad you are okay! Love getting to know you this way by hearing your thoughts in a more free form outlet. Your tattoo is PHENOMENAL!! I’m so in love with and can’t wait to see the final photo of Dorothy & Toto! :)

ATMOSHERE!

To me environment is EVERYTHING!  If I am not feeling the environment, I do not feel like my writing is where it could be. If I get distracted I feel like I am moving nowhere. Atmosphere around needs to be just right. I need the lighting to be right. I need the music to fit the mood of my book. I need it not to be to still or quiet because I will look for movement and noice. I like to be surrounded by people that support me and can listen to my ideas with no judgement. When  am not feeling my surroundings I just can not write my best.
